THE HOUSE

The Super-U grocery store is just over a mile away as is the larger town of L'Île-Bouchard with the necessities for living.
A very competent and helpful person is available to assist you with cleaning or finding assistance for almost any need you may have. Of course, she is available on a paid basis, and her rates are reasonable.
We have had no problems leaving the house for extended periods of time. We close the shutters, lock the doors and no one has bothered the place at all.
Along with the sale of the house, if you wish, I will introduce you to the mayor of Crouzilles, so you feel welcome and a part of the community.

The house is within easy driving distance of Richelieu, Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon and Tours. It's the perfect Loire Valley pied-à-terre.
THE PRICE
The house is owned by my bachelor brother and me and until October 2010 was lived in by my brother. He suffered an accident at that time which left him paralyzed. He now lives in a house equipped for the handicapped and can no longer reside in the place he loves. I live in the USA and do not travel to the area often. We no longer can use and enjoy the benefits of this special place.
We were offering the house for sale at 110,000 Euros. Now (5 June 2013), we have reduced the price 10% to 99,000 Euros.
Will we negotiate? Yes. My brother has received superb medical care, but the costs far exceed his ability to pay. He needs the proceeds from the house sale for a greater amount of care than he now receives.
